When confronted by members of the LordÕs Resistance Army (LRA), this young lady was beaten, then they proceeded to cut her ears off. Disfiguring people is a very common action of the LRA. She now resides in the Unyama Internally Displaced PeopleÕs (IDPs) camp. The war in Northern Uganda began in 1986 between the LordÕs Resistance Army (LRA) and the Ugandan PeopleÕs Defense Forces (UPDF). The LRA has reigned terror and carnage on Northern Uganda and Southern Sudan ever since.
